Books & Brews with Mike Bunn

The Friends of the Library invite you to raise your glass for a special event with Mike Bunn, the Director of Historic Blakely State Park in Spanish Fort, AL, and the author of Fourteenth Colony: The Forgotten Story of the Gulf South During America's Revolutionary Era.  Bunn's groundbreaking work describes the British colony of West Florida, which stretched from the Mississippi to Apalachicola and through portions of what is now Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana.  Bunn will discuss West Florida's tumultuous political climate and its cast of bold and colorful characters, all against the backdrop of the United States' earliest decades.

Your ticket includes two beverages.  Food will be available for purchase. 

Copies of Fourteenth Colony: The Forgotten Story of the Gulf South During America's Revolutionary Era are available for purchase at Downtown Books and will be available for purchase at the event.

Please note that this event will be upstairs at Circle City Brewing and that the facility does not have an elevator.
